Teach your remote

Turn it on with R and Start for keyboard mode. Hold Select for 3 seconds, then pair with 8BitDo Zero 2 gamepad in Bluetooth settings. Set your keyboard language to English.

Other modes: Y + Start for Switch, X + Start for Windows, B + Start for Android. What works on your phone depends on its Bluetooth support. Teach the buttons again after changing modes.

D-pad: move between controls, answers and passages. A (right): select or reveal. B (bottom): back or close.
Quiz: D-pad right reveals or moves on. Then Y (left): Again, X (top): Hard, A (right): Good, B (bottom): Easy.
L and R shoulders: replay and undo in Quiz. Elsewhere: back or forward 15 seconds in audio, one sentence with the device voice.
+ Start: play or pause. − Select: read the current card or passage.

After 15 minutes of rest, press Start to wake it. If nothing happens, press again. Hold it vertically in one hand, like a TV remote. Keep the app open and the screen on. Lock-screen and background remote controls are unverified.
